Smart Telescope Daylight Images
Although the telescopes are designed for astro imaging they can
be used for imaging in daylight.
Here is a comparison of Dwarflab 3 and Mini images.
Dwarflab 3
Dwarflab Mini
The images have not been cropped or processed.
The exposure was set on Auto for all the images. Gain was set
on the lowest setting.
The Shutter speed (Exposure) and Gain can be changed
manually.
Comparison:
The Dwarflab Mini wide angle camera has a field of view 5
o
wider, but it is slightly narrower in height than the Dwarflab 3.
The magnification on both cameras is impressive.
The Dwarflab 3 narrow field camera has a zoom equivalent to a
737mm telephoto lens.
The Mini is equivalent to a 1016mm lens, which is why the field
of view is noticeably smaller.
There is a very obvious blue cast to the Mini images which might
be due to the Astro filter being in place as a default setting. The
blue colour in the Mini image can be removed with additional
processing.
The Dwarflab 3 looks like it could do with a bit more colour
saturation, again adjustable in processing.
